BOC Families!
We are so excited to invite you and your child to BOC Kids: Getting Inspired! This special event is organized by Edson Joachim (from @BlackYounginsAre) specifically for children 7 and older.
Meet us at Gallery101 for a private tour led by the gallery director, Laura Margita. We will explore an inspiring exhibit created by Black artists, Sarah-Mecca Abdourahman and Laurena Finéus, entitled “Le Derniers des Touristes.” The exhibit explores Black identities through the eyes of Abdourahman and Finéus. Abdourahman is of Somali-Indian heritage while Finéus is Haitian heritage.
Register quickly as there is a limited number of spots available! Please note that a parent/guardian must stay for the duration of the event. Due to capcity limitations, only one adult can accompany their child. As per Gallery101 guidelines, all guests must wear a face mask when in the building.
